THRIVE Framework Workshop
Guest Speaker Guide
THRIVE Project Mission
The natural world is changing at an unprecedented rate, surpassing anything seen before in human history. We’re experiencing biodiversity loss, catastrophic fires, floods, and drought from climate change, as well as crippling inequalities within and between societies. In the face of these challenges, civilisation must plot a path out of its current state, towards a more thrivable future.
THRIVE is a for-impact and not-for-profit social enterprise that aims to ensure the long-term well-being of humanity. Our vision is to ensure a world where all life forms coexist in harmony and our civilisation pursues global shared value creation and prosperity.
To this end, we seek to provide a platform for changemakers with a passion for improving the well-being of our Earth, so that they may inform and inspire others on the pathway to change.
Let’s defy extinction. Join us on the journey towards ‘thrivability’ – a place of providence and prosperity.
Help us make the World a thrivable place!

Workshop Overview
Our online workshops are grounded in The THRIVE Framework, emphasising Foundational Focus Factors. These sessions provide a unique platform for changemakers, specialists, researchers, and thrivability enthusiasts to share their insights, discoveries, and experiences.
As a THRIVE Guest, you will have the opportunity to engage with our global audience of over 24,000+ followers, extending your reach and impact. Additionally, you may be considered for further opportunities, such as featuring on our THRIVE Talks Podcast or Thrivability Matters Webinars, which is held on the third Tuesday of each month at 6:00 PM AEST (UTC +10). Each Webinar hosts three Guests, providing a focused forum for sharing expertise.
For workshops, we invite individuals with experience in the fields listed below to join us and contribute to these meaningful discussions.

How It Works
We aim to have two sessions for participants in each workshop. To ensure a smooth presentation, we require from each Guest the following:
- On registration: Please provide a title and synopsis for up to two topics, a short and extended biography, a half body shot, and a 20-sec intro video about you. We will select the best one for you to present.
- Please provide us with the draft presentation slides on the selected topic ahead of time (at least 5 weeks before the workshop). Upon receiving this, we will identify what you plan to present and work with you on planning brainstorming and engagement activities for the participants, also, if necessary provide feedback if necessary.
- Two weeks before: We will hold a rehearsal for the workshop. Guest speakers are invited to attend, learn about the format, and resolve any technical concerns well before the event, to ensure the session runs smoothly. Please ensure you attend from the same location and use the same equipment as on workshop day.
- One week before: Finalise presentation slides and send to THRIVE, to allow for setup.

Q: What is the format of the event?
A: It is a Zoom-based workshop involving two session Speakers. Each Speaker delivers a presentation, followed by a breakout room brainstorming session, where a task is given to the participants by the Speaker. Further details on how the event will run are featured in the “Schedule” section above.
Q: Who are the participants?
A: People from all over the world with a passion for creating a thrivable future. We promote these workshops to our 20,000+ social media followers.
Q: Which topics are available to present on?
A: Each designated month has a different theme, based on the THRIVE Framework – Foundational Focus Factors, please refer to the ‘upcoming campaign’ image above. These are also listed on our Website under the “Learn” section.
Q: Are speakers paid for their time?
A: As a not-for-profit organisation, we do not offer payment for speakers. However, we provide a platform for speakers to express their knowledge through workshops, webinars, newsletters, blogs, and the Thrivability Matters Podcast.
Q: How many participants do you usually have attending your events? What is the typical demographic, geography, etc. of participants?
A: This depends on the topic and time of every event. We aim for a cohort of 20 participants for one session. Participants are worldwide and generally sustainability savvy, looking for better understanding of, and specific guidance, towards a thrivable future.
Q: If a themed month has 3 THRIVE Framework Foundational Focus Factors, do I need to speak on all 3 Factors?
A: No, you are not required to cover all three factors. You have the flexibility to choose one or multiple factors that align best with your expertise or interest. If you plan to present in both sessions of a workshop, you can curate your topics to address different factors under the theme.
