This team works behind the scenes to support and guide the organisation and makes executive decisions.

Patrick is co-author of seven research books, and sole and co-editor of 25 research books. Patrick is interested in the multiple ways in which individuals and groups strive to create diverse and alternative futures, framed and informed by their respective beliefs and values.

A highly motivated individual, Yasmin works across sectors to ensure inclusive and equitable outcomes are achieved. A passionate educator, Yasmin delivers engaging lectures confidently and facilitates thought-provoking discussions to help people connect their learning with real-world application.

Daniel is a passionate advocate for regenerative tourism initiatives and believes that the sector has the opportunity to create value and support local communities economically while educating visitors on the importance of sustainability and helping to preserving our iconic natural environments.

Nic is a lawyer and executive advisor on the Future of Work. She leads Deloitte’s Future of Work efforts for the Asia Pacific region and is passionate about making work better for humans and humans better at work.

Paul profile picture

Paul Fuller has been committed to environmental and resource management for over thirty years. More recently Paul has been managing natural hazard mitigation projects, including assessing the current risk and risk under projected climate change, improving meteorological forecasting of extreme weather events, modelling emergency evacuation, and increasing community awareness of natural hazards.

Mr. Blizzard is a solution seeker for Innovation House Australia with proven experience across a wide range of areas including sales, service, technical, and management. He has a passion for high-performance building practices with expertise in a vast range of building products and materials. He is currently working with one of THRIVE’s strategic partners.

Anders Bjørn is an expert in life cycle indicators of environmental impact. He was always fascinated by the concept of sustainability and how different approaches exist to drive sustainable development. His main learning is using system and life cycle thinking to critically assess the “greenness” of products claimed to be sustainable.

Petie is an operational executive that delivers with a strategic focus. Sustainability and pursuit of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals is a personal and professional passion for her. 

This team works with the academics and experts in the field, researching, analyzing and evaluating the natural and social sciences informing the sustainability field. They are primarily involved with researching content for THRIVE.

Morris D Fedeli has three decades of industry experience in helping organizations achieve success through the application of new emerging innovative business models and technologies.

Martin works as a Research Assistant at the Graz University of Technology, Austria. He investigates sustainability oriented business models of start-ups as well as examining the drivers that motivate start-ups to embed social and/or environmental sustainability in their business models.

Sinval is an engineer with experience in environmental sciences and technology. Sinval dedicates his time to promoting social justice, sustainability and environmental health. Sinval wants to make a difference by promoting nature and its healing capacity and resilience.

Chamari is a researcher with a background in sustainability and circular economy. She has joined THRIVE in order to observe these issues from different perspectives and help the community manage them.

Smitha comes from a background in both journalism and education. With a strong passion for the environment, Smitha hopes to utilise her experience to further spread awareness about sustainable living.

Edith is currently studying for a PhD in Environmental Science at Griffith University. She is a believer in the notion of ‘leaving the world better than you found it’ and thus hopes to create a positive change in the world through the promotion of sustainability.

Adriana lives by her values – respect, honesty, commitment, ethics, dedication, and hard work. She is seeking to sensitise those around herself about environmental and social issues that she views as the pillars of sustainability.

Raman has previously worked as a biology lecturer and an assistant professor of botany.
Raman has come to believe that, as educated youth, young people have the capacity to bring significant change to our society.

Aaron has recently graduated in professional writing & editing and creative writing & literature at Swinburne university of technology. Aaron believes in people’s capacity to change for the better, and thus that thought-provoking writing can be one of the best ways forward for society.

Irmak joined THRIVE as a research assistant in October, 2021. She is a graduate of Political Science, and a passionate advocate for plant-based living. She is especially interested in advocating for human rights, diversity, and equality.

Meiting is a Post-Doctoral Researcher with a background in Environmental Science & Engineering. She has been a member of THRIVE’s Research Team since August, 2021. Her primary interest lies in sustainable water management. Meiting currently lives in Sydney, Australia.

Rolf is a teacher, researcher, & advocate for the UN SDGs. He is interested in contributing to the creation of a more inclusive and diverse curriculum that integrates elements of Climate Change and Environmental Science at primary and high school education levels.

This team develops technologies and tools in aid of resolving some of the world’s greatest challenges by applying the latest in science and technology.

Geoff is a self-trained software developer, video, and audio engineer and has contributed hundreds of hours to the founding of THRIVE in the areas of programming, web development and digital art.

Sebastian is a passionate and purposeful engineer, currently pursuing a Masters in Information Technology majoring in data science at UQ.

Bruce is your friendly neighbourhood IT Developer. Bruce works as a full-stack developer at THRIVE and is into web & software development.

This team facilitates the dissemination of pertinent content in the field of sustainability across blogs, channels, publications, forums, and via social media. 

Raysha has a background volunteering as a Public Relations officer for the Andrews Society of Indonesian Students. Nature and the outdoors are an important place for Raysha, which have increased her passion for sustainability and thrivability. She wishes to preserve these environments for future generations to enjoy too.

Bersu is studying a master’s degrees at Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey. She is currently studying City Planning and is working as a project analyst at NETCAD. Bersu dreams to be an academic working in fields relating to sustainability, whilst continuing to take part in international projects like THRIVE.

This team works closely with research and marketing teams to ensure that quality content is collated and presented in an easily digestible way, informing the reader or viewer and inspiring them to act for the greater common good.

Jason enjoys working outdoors and doing his best to conserve the integrity of the natural world. Originally from New Zealand, he has spent most of his life in Brisbane, where he studied environmental science at Griffith University.

Rebecca is an enthusiastic and versatile writer and editor with an aptitude for web development and social media. Her passion for sustainability stems from an earnest desire to see people everywhere thrive. She wants to facilitate better communication between academics and the general public and, hopefully, help save the world.

Justin is a passionate video editor who helps guide the multimedia team to tell stories that inspire us all to thrive. Based in Melbourne, Australia, he has experience in a range of fields from copywriting and design to web development.
He seeks to make the world a better place, so that we may all live in peace and harmony.

David has been a valued member of THRIVE since October, 2021. He is an experienced and highly professional copywriter, content creator, and podcaster. David is interested in exploring solutions for designing and improving user experiences within online spaces.

This team works closely with research and marketing teams to ensure that quality content is collated and presented in an easily digestible way, informing the reader or viewer and inspiring them to act for the greater common good.

Femelyn is a free spirited, brave lady who has learnt how to survive in less than fortunate circumstances. who has developed an interest in curtailing famine, food waste and poverty in regional areas of Asia.

Prema is a much-valued team assistant, and data analyst at THRIVE. She joined Thrive in September 2021 and has worked hard to improve our internal processes and data capture.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and hopes to explore the area of sustainable packaging in the future.
