NO POVERTY AND ZERO HUNGER: SDG1 & SDG2More than 700 million people live in extreme poverty. That’s 700 million people living on less than $1.90 per day. Furthermore, 690 million people are suffering from hunger. Targets to eradicate poverty and hunger by 2030 have been completely disrupted by the pandemic with the impact of Covid-19 affecting the world’s poorest, the most. This month we’ve looked at policy changes, social protection systems and how a global food and agriculture overhaul is vital to our efforts to achieve no poverty and zero hunger.
