The first attempt to organise a national movement for women’s rights took place in New York in July, 1848. One hundred and seventy-three years later and women are still fighting for equal pay, equal opportunities and, in some places, even having to fight for reproductive freedom! This continued inequality also means that women and children are more negatively impacted by the effects of climate change. -
